The Person Called You - Bill Hendricks
I just finished reading a fabulous book by Bill Hendricks, The Person Called You. This book focuses on finding out and honing in on YOUR GIFTEDNESS. I like the way the author presents this topic, it's not just a self-help or motivational book. He balances real world scenarios, with his experience and Biblical backing perfectly. This book has really opened my eyes.... I never really thought about my giftedness in the context that is presented by the book. I know I am in a rut in my current job and I know my work is not fulfilling, but I am pretty good at it, so I have just been riding it out, while browsing for other opportunities. This book has provided me with the insight to really work in my giftedness. It doesn't mean I will be in my dream job, but hopefully I will be in a position that better aligns with my giftedness. I am excited to see what the future holds for me as I make moves to do what I was created to do.
